Sara and Chuck met through mutual friends – one of which ended up being the best man in their wedding! When Chuck met Sara, he knew instantly that he wanted to pursue a relationship. They went out on their first date and continued dating long-distance while Sara went back home to student teach. Finally summer came back around and they were able to see each other more often.
Chuck said he was really sneaky about buying her ring. He told Sara he was going to his mom’s to do yard work all day, but really he was out ring shopping. He made reservations at a fancy restaurant where he popped the question. Afterwards, their friends and family were waiting back home to continue the celebration!
Fishermen’s Inn was the perfect setting for their wedding day. My favorite part is the pond and little bridge which was perfect for their first look. Chuck couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw Sara in her pink sherbet colored gown! Her dress was designed by Tara Keely and I’ve never seen anything like it!
The food and details from this day were absolutely stunning. The ceremony took place in one of the many gardens and the lemonade was the perfect refreshment for this hot and sunny day. String lights and paper lanterns decorated the reception space and later in the evening guests were treated with donut table. After the dancing, donuts, and drinks came to an end, Sara and Chuck ended their night with a sparkler send-off!
