You can really tell a couple belongs together when they’re very passionate about similar interests and just enjoy being around each other. This is definitely the case with Kim and Connor! I really enjoyed spending time with them for their session because they really just had fun which brought out genuine smiles in each other. They even had me laughing from behind the camera! Connor was definitely practicing his “heel pop” before the session – it was spot on! But maybe leave that to Kim for next time. 😉

Kim and Connor both played the soccer their whole lives and currently coach part-time. The sport is one of the main reasons they started dating, so we definitely needed to incorporate a soccer ball into the shoot. Kim did a fantastic job of writing their wedding date on it! After the casual shoot in Lincoln Park, we headed to North Avenue Beach to end the day with more dressy shots using the skyline in the background during sunset. The water was so blue and I love how the sun is just peeking over the buildings! I had a great time with Kim and Connor at their shoot and needless to say, I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding next year!
