Harry’s Velvet Room hosted a Kentucky Derby viewing event Saturday where patrons donned big hats and sipped on craft cocktails. After everyone witnessed American Pharaoh taking the win for the actual derby, some of the ladies joined in a race of their own outside.

Harry’s hosted a stick pony race following the viewing of the event. It was really fun to watch and the participants really enjoyed taking part in the races. Since most of the girls were wearing heels along with their dresses and hats, it was only fair to have a separate flats race and heels race. The winners won $100 and the runner-ups got to keep the stick ponies. It was a great time! Here are some of the photos and make sure to see the rest in the gallery!
